5th Grade:
- Free Throw contest - Brook Ballard, Masco
- Shooting contest - Jenna Gagnon, Ipswich
6th Grade:
- Free Throw Contest - Jill Kefalis, Hamilton-Wenham
- Shooting Contest - Masey Zegarowski, Hamilton-Wenham
7th Grade:
- Free Throw Contest - Nicole L'Italien, Georgetown
- 3 point contest - Julia Gagne, Georgetown
8th Grade:
- Free Throw Contest - Becca Daff, Hamilton-Wenham (runner up Kylie S., Georgetown)
- 3 Point Contest - Lea Tomaz, Newburyport (runner up Cassandra Fibbe, Hamilton-Wenham)
Here is the format for the 3 Point/Shooting Contest and the Free Throw Contest taking place Saturday, March 14th at 3:30pm.
COURT LOCATIONS - All contestants must check in at the concession stands and register prior to the contest beginning:
- 8th Grade: SHORE COURT 1 - 3:30pm
- 7th Grade: GORDON COLLEGE COURT 1 - 3:30pm
- 6th Grade: GORDON COLLEGE COURT 3 - 3:30pm
- 5th Grade: GORDON COLLEGE COURT 2 - 3:30pm
EACH TEAM PROVIDES ONE PLAYER FOR FREE THROW SHOOTING AND ONE PLAYER FOR THE 3 POINT CONTEST/SHOOTING CONTEST.
3 Point/Shooting Contest Format:
5th and 6th Grade Girls:
Each player gets 2 shots from 5 spots on the floor from approx. 15 feet out (2 from corners, 2 from wings, 2 from behind free throw line) without a time limit (or with a time limit long enough so the girls don't have to rush each shot but not long enough so they can line each one up). This way balls aren't flying all around the gym. The top three scorers would then go to the finals. FIRST ROUND AND FINAL ROUND TOTALS ARE ADDED UP TO DETERMINE THE WINNER
7th and 8th Grade Girls: Same as above except they shoot from behind the High School Girls 3 point line

Free throw shooting format:
With the Free Throw shooting each girl will get 10 shots, again with the top three going to the finals. FIRST ROUND AND FINAL ROUND TOTALS ARE ADDED UP TO DETERMINE THE WINNER
Winners receive a plaque - REMINDER - each team can enter one player for the Free Throw Contest and one player for the 3 point contest. Each grade has a contest. PARTICIPANTS MUST ARRIVE SATURDAY, MARCH 14 BY 3:15pm AND REGISTER AT THE CONCESSION STAND TO BE ELIGIBLE.
